At that service, which will be officiated by Fr Hill, teachers are encouraged to invite their children, spouses, relatives and friends.Mrs Nicholas, who described Fr Hill as a very young, dynamic priest, said he has agreed to conduct the service and a meeting will be held with him on Monday 14 September to plan the whole service.Mrs Nicholas said misfortune seems to be touching the teaching profession, said as such the Healing Service will help strengthen teachers who are going through difficult times. Principal of the St Mary’s Academy, Cuthbert Elwin died recently while Principal of the St Mary’s Primary, Annette Austrie lost her home to a fire.“We’ll be praying for you and for ourselves too because as I said, misfortune is spreading, it seems, touching the profession because we just lost a principal, a principal’s house just got burnt just before, you know and it seems we’re on the ball, basil checking us out,” Mrs Nicholas said.“But if basil checking us, we have to be prepared to deal with basil too and we are enablers, so it means that if people [are] expecting a lot from us; we cannot be empty, we cannot fall down, we have to give the strength and this is what we are trying to do, is to give you some strength so you can go through your own personal, and not only personal, but at least people are looking at you and they’re seeing you and they too can draw strength from you,” Mrs Nicholas indicated.
