Roma make move for keeper tipped to replace Lloris at Tottenham

first_img1 Roma have made the first move in the race for Salvatore Sirigu, according to reports in France.As reported by talkSPORT this week, Paris Saint-Germain could be set to sell last season’s first-choice keeper Sirigu after the arrival of Kevin Trapp.Sirigu is a long-term target of Tottenham and he has been suggested as a potential successor for Hugo Lloris should he leave White Hart Lane this summer.But the north London club will face stiff competition should they launch a move to land the Italian.The Italy international remains on Valencia’s radar but now sources in France have revealed that Roma have already kicked off the bidding for Sirigu.It has been suggested that the Serie A side have offered £7.9m in the hope they can take the 28-year-old former Palermo favourite back to Italian football.
