First presidential debate to take place this afternoon

first_imgThe first live Presidential campaign debate between all six candidates will take place this afternoon.As the campaign for the presidency gathers momentum ahead of the vote on 26 October, all candidates will have an opportunity to state their case for Áras an Uachtaráin.The candidates – Peter Casey, Gavin Duffy, Joan Freeman, Seán Gallagher, Michael D Higgins and Liadh Ní Riada – will debate the issues on RTE Radio One’s ‘Saturday with Cormac Ó hEadhra’ programme, beginning at 1:00pm.
